Manchester United £100m bid ‘confirmed’ for Premier League star
By Bence Bocsak
Manchester United’s spectacular bid for a current Premier League star was facetiously confirmed by the player’s manager during a press conference.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is perhaps embarking into a new dawn as Manchester United manager. The Norwegian has braced himself for the final round of the battle and he has bolstered his set-up with some fine new warriors in the addition of Bruno Fernandes, Odion Ighalo and Nathan Bishop.
The Red Devils’ squad certainly looks a lot more threatening then it did merely a few days ago when United’s chances of bringing reinforcements looked mightily bleak.
If anything the reinforcements have probably made United’s rivals for the top four spot a little bit more cautious about their ambitions.

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has made his mission clear at Manchester United. He wants to take his former club back to their glory days.
Whilst he is still far away from toppling Liverpool’s dominance on the throne, he has certainly made some small steps.
Solskjaer has made some shrewd signings and has cut down on the festering deadwood in the Red Devils’ squad.
One player who will certainly not be joining the club however is Norwich City’s Teemu Pukki.
According to the Daily Express Manchester United ‘made an enquiry’ about signing the Finish international. However that enquiry was shunned almost immediately by Norwich City.
In the press conference at Norwich City’s training ground Daniel Farke sat with a wide grin on his face when he was asked about United’s move for Teemu Pukki.
Via the Daily Express Daniel Farke revealed in a facetious tone that the club had ‘rejected the £100m offer for Teemu.’
Farke was of course not being serious and United have turned their attention elsewhere but you have to admire the flippant side of the Norwich manager.
United will clearly be in the hunt for a striker in the summer transfer window, though it is unlikely to be Pukki and even more unlikely to be for £100m.
What do you think would Teemu Pukki have been a good signing for Manchester United?
