Manchester United’s interest in the Premier League star striker has been confirmed and he could still come to Old Trafford by the end of the window.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can breathe a sigh of relief. It had been a hard and tumultuous month at Manchester United but the Norwegian has survived despite the criticism and scrutiny.
The Red Devils have faced some embarrassing results this month losing to their biggest rivals in Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal as well as a shock defeat to Burnley at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer has also had to deal with a mounting injury crisis which has been compounded by the huge loss of Marcus Rashford who could possibly be sidelined until even the end of the season.

On top of that United struggled to get singings over the line. The club missed out on the likes of Erling Haaland and were on the brink of losing the fight for Bruno Fernandes too until a last minute decision which secured the Portuguese midfielder’s arrival.
Bruno Fernandes’ signing means that upon the end of the month United are ending on a positive note and with plenty of hope for better things to come.
Things could however turn even more optimistic at Old Trafford. With still one day remaining in the transfer window it seems the club could still make one more signing.
According to Sky Sports the Red Devils have had a bid rejected for Bournemouth striker Joshua King. On top of that the Bournemouth manager Edie Howe refused to deny Manchester United’s interest in his player during his press conference via the BBC.
It is no secret United have been in the hunt for a striker, especially with the injury of Marcus Rashford.
Joshua King could be the perfect addition. He has been a prolific goalscorer in the Premier League for a number of years now. He is full of pace, strength and power. His playing style could offer the Red Devils something different going forward.
In addition Joshua King is also no stranger to life at Old Trafford. He moved to the Red Devils as a 16 year old and spent five years at the club before making a switch to Blackburn Rovers.
He is also a Norwegian international and a fellow compatriot of Solskjaer.
What do you think would Joshua King be a good signing for Manchester United?
