Manchester United finally agree deal with January transfer target

Manchester United have agreed a deal for their exciting transfer target in the January window and will bring him to Old Trafford according to reports.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made his ambitions clear at Manchester United. As a Red Devils supporter himself, the Norwegian is sick and tired of the club lingering in mediocrity. He wants things to change at Old Trafford. He wants the club to return to where they belong; the pinnacle of English football.

For the last couple of years the sight of Manchester City and Liverpool lifting trophies has been sickening and the Red Devils need to break the cycle.

So far Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done an amicable job at Old Trafford. Considering this has been his first proper stint at a major European club the Norwegian has done well to lift the spirits of his players.

However Solskjear will be the first to admit he is still miles away from the club’s lofty ambitions. The players at his disposal are not quite good enough for the Red Devils shirt and Solskjaer has not had enough time to cut out all the deadwood and bring in the quality that is so desperately needed.

Inevitably results have been mixed under such circumstances but things could soon change. Manchester United have been busy trying to recruit players in the January transfer window and it seems they may have finally come to an agreement with one of them.

According to The Telegraph via 90min.com the Red Devils have reached an ‘agreement’ with Bruno Fernandes over a prospective contract.

Now what remains is for Sporting and United to agree a fee.

Nonetheless it seems that Bruno Fernandes is keen to come to Old Trafford and that will be music to the ears of the United faithful.

Bruno Fernandes has been one of the most prolific midfielders playing in Europe’s top five leagues and his flair, vision and goals will be a huge asset in an United midfield which has often been devoid of creativity.
