The Manchester United boss seems to have identified the perfect alternative to his long coveted transfer target, Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

It is no secret Manchester United have been desperate to land the mercurial talent of Jadon Sancho. It is no surprise why Manchester United are desperate to sign Jadon Sancho either. The Borussia Dortmund winger seems to be a generational talent. Without a shadow of a doubt Jadon Sancho will have a very successful career ahead of him. He has the potential to become one of the best players in the world.

Yet no matter how much Manchester United are desperate to land Jadon Sancho, the Red Devils face a huge obstacle. Borussia Dortmund are reported to have been asking a fee in the region of £100 million for Sancho’s services. At that price Jadon Sancho may be a bit too steep and out of the club’s reach and means.

That means Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must force his mind to let go of any notions about signing Jadon Sancho and find alternative solutions instead. After all, the Red Devils desperately need a top class winger. They haven’t had one since the likes of Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to Don Ballon via Caught Offside, it seems United have found the perfect ‘alternative’ in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Adama Traore. The Spanish outlet claims that Adama Traore could cost the Red Devils as cheap as £25 million which is a far better rate than Dortmund’s asking price for Sancho.

Adama Traore has been one of the best winger’s in the Premier League over the last couple of months. His pace and bulky figure makes him a real nuisance to defenders and almost impossible to stop. Recently he has also improved his product in the final third too and has started to add goals and assists to his game.

He is still just 23 years of age with time to improve and hone his skills further, Old Trafford may just be the perfect place for him to do so.
