Manchester United: Yet another huge twist in Paul Pogba transfer saga
By Bence Bocsak
The speculation is endless over the Manchester United midfielder and it seems there has been another huge twist over his future at the club.
The speculation and the gossip has been relentless over Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United. Just when you think it has finally been put to bed, yet another story emerges to twist the tale upside down.
For months on end, ever since the summer, there has been one question perpetually proposed to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at press conferences: ‘Will Paul Pogba leave or will he stay?’ The Manchester United boss has tried to stay coy about the question. Sometimes he would shrug his shoulders other times he would insist the Frenchman is staying.
Yet despite this, the rumours are never ending. The news of Paul Pogba being sidelined for yet another extensive period have only given more fuel to the fire.
The World Cup winner seems destined to leave Old Trafford for pastures new. Paul Pogba’s time at the Red Devils seems be coming to an inevitable end.
With both Real Madrid and Juventus breathing down the necks of United and desperate to land Pogba it is hard to see how the Red Devils could possibly convince him to stay.
Add to that the severed relationship between Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, and the club which does not help the situation. And it seems that according to Tuttosport via EuroSport, and contrary to previous reports, Mino Raiola is seriously ‘pushing’ for a move away from Old Trafford for Paul Pogba.
While Pogba has put in some admirable performances when he has played for the club this season and he did have an impressive period at United last season, it is clear the World Cup winner is not keen on remaining at Manchester United in the long term.
That lack of commitment should be enough to convinced United to sell. There is no point keeping a demotivated Paul Pogba at the club and it is better for both parties to move on and end their misery.
In United’s case that could end up with a huge amount of profit and money to spend on an ideal replacement with the Red Devils purportedly demanding £150m for Paul Pogba’s services.
What do you think should Manchester United sell Paul Pogba?
