The Hungarian is regarded as one of the best up and coming midfielders in world football right now. Just 19 years of age Dominik Szoboszlai has already established himself as a key member of Red Bull Salzburg’s impressive squad and he has also excelled on the international scene.

A fast, agile player with the ability to dribble past players and bomb forward as well as the skill and creative vision to carve open defences with clever through balls into his teammates, Dominik Szoboszlai posses very similar traits to Paul Pogba. He is also of similar build and stature and his ability means he could be the ideal Paul Pogba replacement for Manchester United.

In fact Dominik Szoboszlai’s technique and distribution may already be better than Paul Pogba having impressed with his long range passing in the Champions League this season against strong opposition in the likes of Liverpool and Napoli.

Whilst he is still young, Dominik Szoboszlai would of course take some time to settle into the club but he could ultimately prove to be a smart purchase. Without a doubt the Hungarian would be the cheapest option for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on this list but ultimately it could be the one which would potentially make the best financial sense for United.

Dominik Szoboszlai continues to grow as a player. As a youth international he single handedly led his U17 Hungary side to the European Championships where they defeated the likes of France and managed to qualify out of their group.

Now at 18 he scored his first senior international goal for Hungary with a well struck free-kick against Slovakia. He is also a regular feature at Red Bull Salzburg where despite his tender age he is continuing to contribute with goals and assists. So far in 42 games for Red Bull Salzburg Dominik Szoboszlai has scored 9 goals and given 11 assists.

His next step may well just be United to fill the shoes of Paul Pogba.
