Manchester United: Solskjaer enters race for £100m Premier League star

According to reports the Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has lined up yet another new target to bolster his squad in January.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s quest to restore Manchester United to their former glory days has well and truly kicked off at Old Trafford. The Norwegian boss has orchestrated impressive victories over rivals Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in recent times and whilst he did suffer a humiliating defeat to Watford, he came back strong and led his side to a 4-1 victory on boxing day against Newcastle United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is bringing through a plethora of talent and slowly fine tuning a clearly flawed and full of cracks Manchester United side. Solskjaer is filling those cracks with his new signings such as Harry Maguire, Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka who have all begun life at Old Trafford with a strong start.
And it seems Solskjaer could be filing more cracks soon in the upcoming January transfer window. After the departure of some of the club’s old veterans as well as Romelu Lukaku, Solskjaer still needs some reinforcements in the United attack.
In Everton’s Richarlison he may have just found the perfect solution to his problems. The Brazilian has a tremendous amount of pace, great samba feet, the ability to dribble past opponents with ease and also the knack for scoring goals.
Already a Brazilian international with 19 caps and 6 goals, Richarlison is still just 22 years of age with plenty of time to improve and develop. In the Premier League he has been on good goalscoring form for the last couple of seasons too since making the switch to England.
And now according to the Evening Standard via the Daily Mail Richarlison is ‘under consideration’ by Manchester United as a potential recruit for the January transfer window.
The Red Devils will have to pay a hefty fee for the Brazilian’s services. Reports in the summer suggested Everton would demand a whopping £100m for Richarlison if they are to allow the Brazilian to depart.
Though while that fee is excessive it would be well worth the money for Manchester United as Richarlison has the potential to become a world class talent and Old Trafford could be the perfect place for him to fulfil that promise.
What do you think would Richarlison be a good signing for Manchester United?
