2. James Maddison from Leicester
The Leicester City midfielder has been in great form this season and he is said to be a boyhood Manchester United fan. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is clearly not blessed entirely in the midfield department at Manchester United right now. Solskjaer currently has a few misfits such as Fred and Paul Pogba, some ageing players in Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic and a couple of up and coming stars in Scott Mctominay and Angel Gomes at his disposal right now.
But the United midfield needs an extra spark, something to rejuvenate it and get it going once more in order to help the club grow and take United to the next level. Long gone are the days of Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham. The club are in desperate need of a new star man.
It seems Solskjaer may already be onto a solution with the introduction of James Maddison. The Leicester City midfielder has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League this season and his form has even merited an England senior international debut.
Maddison is quick, with an exquisite first touch, the ability to beat a man one on one with ease as well as finding his teammates from tight corners and in between rigid defences. Maddison could be the perfect solution to help breakdown the tough defences United encounter at times away in the Premier League.
And with Manchester United being Maddison’s boyhood club playing for the team he once dreamt of representing may also boost his performances and take the Leicester star to the next level.
