ROUNDUP: Manchester United Men in action for national teams!

Manchester United’s biggest stars are once again getting ready to don their country’s jersey in a bid to make their nations proud. Six players could potentially be getting out on the grass in the next few days, here is all the information you need.

It was a bad end to last week for Diogo Dalot who was on the losing side for Portugal under-20s in the World Cup. His side could only draw with South Africa, who finished bottom of Group F, meaning they failed to qualify for the Last 16.

Dalot will now most likely go on holiday to rest up before returning for pre-season training on July 1st.

Paul Pogba played a full 90 minutes for France last night as they defeated Bolivia 2-0 in a friendly. Thomas Lemar opened the scoring in the fifth minute before Antoine Greizmann doubled their lead two minutes before half time.

However, it was a moment involving Pogba which caught the eyes of United fans. His half-volley pass to teammate Florian Thauvin was technically first-class and so satisfying to watch.

France are next in action on Saturday against Turkey in their third UEFA Euro Qualifier.

England will be hoping to get their first piece of major silverware since 1966 in the UEFA Nations League, which starts this week. Manchester United duo Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford are part of the squad, unlike Luke Shaw, who was ignored by Gareth Southgate in favour of Leicester’s Ben Chilwell and Spurs’ Danny Rose.

The Three Lions take on the Netherlands in the semi-final on Thursday evening. For more on the Nations League finals this summer, click below.

On Friday, as the working week draws to a close, two more Red Devils are in line to feature. Alexis Sanchez and his Chilean teammates will be keen to kickstart the summer with a bang. Their match against Haiti is the last before they head off to Brazil for the 2019 Copa America.

Chile are the two-time defending champions after winning the tournament back in 2016 and 2015 – they will come up against Ecuador, Japan and Uruguay in Group C.

And finally, David de Gea will be hoping to turn over a new leaf when he walks out for Spain against the Faroe Islands on Friday. United’s number one had a poor finish to the 2018/19 season but he will be hoping to get back to his best in his country’s third Euro qualifying match.
