Do the Red Devil’s need to worry about Valverde’s side?

Of course they do! Barcelona are arguably the best side in Europe at the moment, having not lost a single game in the Champions League so far and with the La Liga title almost theirs.

Lionel Messi scored a brilliant goal during their 2-0 league win over Atletico Madrid on Saturday, adding to his incredible tally of 43 goals so far in all competitions this season.

Defending against the Argentine magician will be a tricky prospect for United’s centre-backs – especially since they will also have to watch out for his in-form strike partner Luis Suarez at the same time.

Ousmane Dembele has not featured for the Catalan side since the second leg of their round-of-16 tie against Lyon – in which he scored the final goal in a 5-1 victory.

However, the club have announced that the French forward will make the trip to Manchester, meaning that Valverde will likely have a fully fit squad to pick from to play against United.
