Manchester United take on PSG tonight in the Last 16 of the Champions League hoping to turn around a two-goal advantage from the French champions in the hope of making it through to the quarter-finals. But with little lose and plenty to gain, will Ole Gunnar Solskjaer go all out attack? Our site experts pick their starting XI’s.
Manchester United’s starting lineup for tonight’s match really depends on Solskjaer’s mentality going into it. Does he think the tie is winnable? Can they overturn a two-goal deficit in the Parc de Princes?
The answer to that question may also be impacted by the fact United have an equally, if not more, important game this coming Sunday against Arsenal in the league.

In my view, there is a slight chance United can still go to Paris and win the tie, just. Had the score have been 3-0 I would have definitely turned attentions solely to Sunday.

Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay would have started anyway had Paul Pogba not been suspended, but due to the Frenchman’s absence, Brazilian Fred has a chance to impress.
Diogo Dalot changed the game for the better from the bench against the Saints on Saturday and if he can replicate that performance over 90 minutes then he will cause PSG a few problems. As much as I would like to start an academy graduate, the occasion may overawe them a little, perhaps bringing the likes of Angel Gomes or Tahith Chong off the bench would be a better option.

Pereira grabbed a terrific goal and assist against Southampton, so he has earned the right to keep his place in the starting XI.
Although Fred also grabbed an assist, he has mostly been poor in the few games he has played for United. However, since Pogba is suspended, Solskjaer has little choice but to play the Brazilian in midfield.
Dalot was great when he came on against the Saints, getting an assist from right-wing, so he should keep his place and provide crosses for Lukaku and Rashford.
