Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made it six wins from his first six games in charge of Manchester United on the weekend. Easy this football management isn’t it! The Red Devils defeated Tottenham 1-0 at Wembley and here are three things we learned from the impressive victory.

Shhhh, David is still king of the world!

Manchester City or Liverpool are going to win the title this season. And one of the key players in either of the two clubs sides has been their goalkeepers. Both Ederson and Allison have been tremendous.

However, just because Manchester United had only kept two league clean sheets this season, David De Gea’s status as the world’s best keeper seemed to be under question slightly, despite the incredible amount of work he did to achieve it.

Manchester United have conceded the joint seventh amount of goals this season. But it’s tricky to remember too many where De Gea was blatantly at fault, other than the opening goal against Newcastle at Old Trafford in October. However, just because the Spaniard hasn’t been able to save the impossible this season as frequently this season, it doesn’t make him any less of a keeper.

It’s the saves you should make that often get judged on and despite some poor finishing from Spurs on Sunday, De Gea was well up to the task of notching his third clean sheet of the campaign. Mix in a couple world-class saves too and you have yourself a performance which reminds everyone why you are the world number one.
