Eric Bailly to leave Manchester United to join Sevilla in January?

Reports suggest that La Liga side Sevilla are interested in signing Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly in the January transfer window.
According to Spanish newspaper Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla manager Pablo Machin is “seriously interested” in signing Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly.
The Ivory Coast international signed for the Red Devils back in 2016 from La Liga side Villarreal for a fee reportedly in the region of £30m.
Bailly began his Old Trafford career well, with early Man of the Match performances helping to cement his place in the starting XI throughout his first two seasons at the club.
However, the centre-back has since endured a difficult start to the 2018-19 Premier League campaign, having played only eight games throughout the season.
Reports suggest that Bailly had fallen out with ex-manager Jose Mourinho after a series of poor results which saw United drop to 6th place in the table.
His replacement, caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, started the defender in United’s home game against Bournemouth, but he was later sent off after a dangerous challenge on Ryan Fraser, continuing his woes.
Estadio Deportivo states that Bailly is fed up with his time at Old Trafford and wants to return to Spain with another La Liga club.
However, it is understood that his wage demands may be a problem for Sevilla, who would be unable to match the alleged £75,000 a week Bailly is receiving from United.
Instead, the Spanish newspaper suggests that Machin may settle for a loan deal from January until the end of the season – so that United can continue to pay a portion of his salary.
Bailly served his one-match ban for the red card when Manchester United beat Newcastle United 2-0 at St. James’ Park on Wednesday.
