Marcus Rashford’s top 5 Manchester United goals – you’ll never guess which one’s top!

Jose Mourinho had put all of his Champions League eggs into one Europa League basket. The Manchester United manager had given up on his top four hopes in the Premier League, playing his stronger side in the Europa League.

United were expected to make it through to the final up against Spanish side Celta Vigo in the semis. However, the pressure was building after a dominant first half, the were scores still level at 0-0 heading into the final 30 minutes.

Mourinho knew if he could get that crucial away goal, his side would have one foot in the final. United win a free kick to the right of centre outside the 18-yard box. Towering over the ball is young 19-year old Marcus Rashford. The forward whipped the free kick across the goalkeeper and into the far top left corner.

Job done. Back to Manchester for the second leg.
