3. Nabil Fekir( Lyon)

Fekir’s career from being an academy graduate of Lyon to the club captain and talisman of the same club speaks volumes about the Frenchman. He was named as the Ligue 1 Young player of the season and has since made over 150 appearances for the French side netting nearly 60 goals.

In the 2017-18 season, Fekir combined along with former United winger Memphis Depay and Real Madrid striker Mariano, as the trio managed a combined total of 55 goals which helped them return to the UEFA champions league. Liverpool and Chelsea were involved in an unsuccessful pursuit to sign the winger in the summer. Fekir was also instrumental in Lyon’s triumph over Manchester City in the UEFA champions league and signing the Frenchman would be an excellent way to get back at our three main rivals.

Fekir is known for his versatility to play as a winger, a number 10 as well as a striker. He has got a splendid ball control and is also a free kick specialist.

Manchester United have got a plethora of options to play at the left wing, but the lack of a quality right winger has been one of the weaknesses of the club. Mourinho targeted quite a few players in the summer to strengthen the right-wing role at the club but failed to get the backing of the board.

United lack a creative player who creates a huge number of chances and Fekir, with his crossing and creativity would be the ideal candidate to address the issue. Signing the Frenchman in the winter would strengthen the attack to a great deal and possibly brings the red Devils back as major title contenders.
