Jose Mourinho brings Mata on and puts McTominay to CB, so you know from now to the final whistle United are going to throw the kitchen sink at Newcastle?

@CarsonAMerk (NT): Down 2-0, Jose obviously had to change something. I thought as good as Mata was in the attack, McTominay was as poor in the defense. Unfortunately for Newcastle, they couldn’t capitalize.

@ol14__ (RDA): There was a slight response when Jose made that early change, Lukaku pulled wide and his cross was headed wide by Marcus Rashford. Should have been 2-1. 

However, we never saw United really go at it until the second half. The crowd were up then and once the team started to formulate waves of attacks, you knew Newcastle had to defend for their lives to keep United out for 45.
