Final player rankings for Manchester United’s World Cup stars – new leader at the top!

Manchester United World Cup player rankings: 2nd & 1st
England’s Harry Kane beat him to the Golden Boot as Lukaku’s goal tally dried up. As did his influence in the side though as Rom couldn’t guide his side to a final, losing to France in the semi-final.
In spite of all this, Lukaku can be immensely proud of what has been a terrific tournament for him. Bagging five goals and being a crucial cog in the team winning bronze.
But I think the 25-year olds performance in the World Cup Final proves more than anything that Didier Deschamps made the correct call of making him their main playmaker.
Pogba’s pass to Mbappe which eventually came back to him making it 3-1, was world class. Only a handful of midfielders in would be able to see such a pass let alone play it.
The hope now is that once Pogba enjoys these celebrations, which he certainly will, he comes back to Manchester United and continues his top form.
