Argentina

Unfortunately, none of the Red Devils made the first team in their 2-0 win over Italy. However, Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero made an appearance for a poor showing against Spain. The match ended 6-1. Overall, Argentina could not get past a dominate Spain team.

Romero and Rojo can not receive all of the blame, though, because teams win together and lose together. If anything, this game was a valuable lesson to take into future matches.

Chile

Alexis Sanchez made an appearance in both of Chile’s games over the weekend. In Chile’s match with Denmark, the game ended in a 0-0 draw. In their other game with Sweden, Chile came out victorious 2-1 over Sweden.

Sanchez did not score in either game, but he played a significant role in Chile’s second goal against Sweden. Watch here:
