 Goalkeepers: 7/10

David de Gea is Mourinho’s number one choice for goal again. In a match as big as this one, this choice was a no-brainer. In the first half, the Spaniard did not face many shots. However, the shots he faced he made quick work to save. Despite Sevilla maintaining possession for a lot of the first half, they never had many chances to take shots.

In the second half, de Gea faced a shot from Ben Yedder, and the Spaniard could not reach the ball as it flew into the bottom right corner. The shot was well placed, and it was one of few shots that de Gea could not save.

In Sevilla’s second goal, de Gea faced a header that he tried his hardest to save, but it eventually bounced into the back of the net. At first, many thought that United’s goalkeeper saved the attempt, but goal-line technology ruled the shot as a goal. David de Gea did his all to try and match his performance in the first leg, but the Spaniard was unlucky in the second leg.
