Have Manchester United found their front four?

Expanding on what I just mentioned about the front four, I believe Mata, Sanchez, Rashford and Lukaku have potential.

Alexis Sanchez didn’t have a good game in possession today, but he hasn’t been he’s not in great form. I’m sure when he returns to his flowing best he will be able to play with anyone in any of the front four positions.

Rashford will take the headlines. Deservedly so due to his brace, especially the spectacular first goal. But once again the performances of Romelu Lukaku and Juan Mata impressed.

Gary Neville spoke on Monday Night Football after Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Crystal Palace about Juan Mata. He spoke about how amongst the individual talent, Mata makes United a team. Juan Mata once again did this today.

I think fans underestimate the Spaniard’s impact on this Manchester United side. Because he doesn’t have blistering pace or fancy tricks, he perhaps isn’t regarded as a dangerous threat. But he showed on Monday and today that when he wonders about the pitch knitting the attacks together, he is crucial.

Romelu Lukaku for the second home game in a row, the Belgian bullied the opponent’s centre-halves. Despite not finding the net today, his overall performance was as good as last weeks against Chelsea. His performances against two top six sides in the last two weeks have been sensational.
