Manchester United: Mourinho shows interest in Paulo Dybala
By Wyatt Miner
Jose Mourinho sent a scout to watch Paulo Dybala play against Tottenham, according to Manchester Evening News.
In recent games, Manchester United are still lacking in attack. While United have a strong lineup, Mourinho has eyes on an Argentinian superstar: Paulo Dybala.
Dybala is one of Juventus’ best players. For example, his dribbling is superb, as well as his motivation in attack. Because of Paulo Dybala, Juventus find success in almost every competition they play.
In addition to his technical ability, he is a fast and aggressive winger. In the modern game, it is rare to come across a player who is not afraid to take on the opposition by himself. With Sanchez on the other wing, Manchester United’s attack would be much more deadly than it already is.
Many wonder why Mourinho wants to splash the cash for another superstar while Manchester United has talent like Anthony Martial. Furthermore, Martial is in his most successful season at Old Trafford. Why would Mourinho want to break the bank (again) for a player that might not succeed in the Premier League?
How would Dybala fare in the Premier League?
As with any foreign transfer, there is always uncertainty as to how they will perform in a new league. Paulo Dybala is no exception.
Yes, Dybala is a prolific goal scorer, but Serie A is a much easier league than the Premier League. In Serie A, there are 4 good teams. While in the Premier League, competition is tough, and any team can win any game. Additionally, some of the world’s best players are in the Premier League.
However, there is a great possibility that the Argentinian could come to Old Trafford and perform up to expectations. Mourinho’s transfers always bring press, and just like Pogba, he could be pressured by the media if he does not play to Mourinho’s standards.

In the end, Paulo Dybala to Manchester United is merely a rumor. It is true, however, that Mourinho sent a scout to watch the winger play. For supporters, this seems too good to be true. Like many other transfer rumors, it probably is too good to be true, but we are early on in this saga. Anything can happen.
