This past year has been full of up and downs for Manchester United, but for once the feeling around Old Trafford is one of hope.

Manchester United won the Europa League back in May and ensured that they would return to the Champions League after a season off.

Jose Mourinho has complained, criticized, and continued to win games. Currently Manchester United sit in second place. Most fans would be pleased with that position in the table, but league leaders Manchester City are 15 points clear.

The Premier League may be settled, but that doesn’t mean this year has been a loss.

Many players have arrived and many have continued to develop into the players fans hoped they would.
