Bordeaux winger Malcom has been on fire in Ligue 1 this season and with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho desperate for attacking reinforcements this summer he’s pushing the club to make a £55million move for winger.
Malcom has been called the next Neymar. He’s only 20 years old and has set Ligue 1 ablaze this season. And with Henrikh Mkhitaryan possibly on the way out, Manchester United are in need of additional attacking options.
According to the Metro, Mourinho is eager to get the deal done and have Malcom move once the summer window opens. The Portuguese manager doesn’t want to miss out on another Brazilian super star in the making. And he especially doesn’t want a rival to sign Malcom like Manchester City
did with Gabriel Jesus.
Malcom is a right-winger and incredibly talented. Just out of his teenage years, he’s already netted seven times and provided four assists so far this season.
However, Mourinho is worried that chairman Ed Woodword could stall negotiations. Apparently last summer, Woodward’s stubbornness was the reason the Red Devils could never secure Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.

Like Jesus, Malcom is bursting at the seams with potential. He follows the classic Brazilian attacker build and has all the intangibles to become a world-class player.
Mkhitaryan has failed to impress this season, and Mourinho could likely loan him out to Inter in January according to multiple reports.
United need someone who can stretch the field on the right side and still provide quality crosses for Romelu Lukaku in the middle.
Arsenal are reportedly hot on the trail of Malcom. The reports state that United will open the bidding at £40million next month. However, Jose Mourinho wants to avoid a bidding war, and is hopefull that £55million will seal the deal.

The Red Devils certainly have the cash for this move. Malcom could be a key piece of the foundation Mourinho is trying to establish for years on end.
