Antoine Griezmann ‘rules nothing out’ on Manchester United transfer
Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has added fuel to the fire on a potential move to Manchester United with the release of his autobiography.
The France international writes that he “rules nothing out” on the possibility of one day making a move to Old Trafford.
"“For months now my name has come out linked with Manchester United,” writes Griezmann. “Manchester United is a possibility. Although I love Paul Pogba a lot, that he is a Red Devil will not affect my decision."
“…I rule nothing out.”
Manchester United were linked with a €100m move for the striker all summer. However, due to the transfer ban slapped on Atletico, Griezmann decided to stay at least one more season.

Despite the in-form Anthony Martial, Griezmann would be welcomed at the club. He can play on either wing or down the middle, and even as a No. 10.
It seemed inevitable this summer that Greizmann would make the switch, but the rumors still persist that he could move following this season.
The 26-year old idolized former Manchester United great David Beckham growing up, so it would be a dream come true to wear his number at the club where he became a legend.
For Manchester United this is a transfer that would make sense on multiple levels.
Griezmann seems to continuously feed the rumors on his future at Atletico. Whether it was him saying that he was leaving this past summer, to now dedicating chapters at length to his future and speculation revolving around United. He is obviously up for it should the opportunity present itself.
Secondly, from a financial perspective, he is almost a bargain. In today’s market where teenagers are moving for almost €200m, paying a €100m buy-out clause for a world-class player is a bargain.
Thirdly, he fits the system. Jose loves multi-dimensional players. Griezmann is a proven goal threat no matter where he lines up on the pitch. Aditionally, the French connection would be amazing between himself and Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.
