Manchester United prepare a £155m bid for Serie A superstar
Paul Pogba’s transfer from Juventus back to Manchester United sent shockwaves around the world as Red Devils paid nearly £90m for the Juventus midfielder.
However, according to the Metro, Manchester United aren’t done raiding the Italian side yet, as they’ve prepared a whopping £155m bid for Pogba’s ex-teammate Paulo Dybala.
Dybala has long been linked with a move away from The Old Lady. And recent comments from the 24-year old have just added fuel to the fire.
In an interview with France Football, Dybala said this on his future:
"“I can’t promise I will stay at Juventus forever. I want to win everything now, football’s strange, you never really know what will happen in the future.”"
Dybala is undoubtedly one of the hottest young players in Europe. Many see him as the heir to Lionel Messi at Barca. However, there’s a chance he could snub his compatriot in favor of his friend and former teammate Paul Pogba.
The two have remained great friends off the pitch, and Dybala admits he misses his former teammate.
"“Pogba’s departure was a tough hit for me,” Dybala added. “He is a friend of mine, we were on very good terms on and off the pitch.”"
The two played just one season together at Juventus, but they won the domestic double together in 2015/16 season.
While £155m may seem like an eye-watering amount, Dybala is certainly a player worthy of such a fee.

He’s just 24-years old — the same age as Pogba and Romelu Lukaku. He can play as an out and out striker, along each wing, or as a central attacking midfielder.
He would be a true No. 10 for the club, and could help United return to the heights they once reached.
But United will face fierce competition for his signature. ‘Agent P’ remains United’s greatest advantage when it comes to trying to sign the Argentine.
He’s a player who single-handedly destroyed Barcelona in last season’s Champions League quarterfinals. He has unbelievable talent already — and he’s no where near his peak.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to get older United will need fresher, younger legs. Paulo Dybala would be the perfect player to inherit Ibra’s No. 10 kit.
It would be an incredibly expensive transfer no doubt. But United are moving towards a young, high-potential team with incredible upside.
