2011: Manchester United vs. New York Cosmos

What better way to head into retirement (the firs time) than scoring an absolute screamer?

That’s just what Scholes did against the poor New York Cosmos in 2001 as Manchester United hosted the USA side in Scholes testimonial match.

Like so often before, picked up the ball on the right side of the box and unloads. The goalkeeper couldn’t even react to try to save it. Unbelievable.
