The Special One

Up until this weekend, United fans could only sing the praises of The Special One.

Mourinho, undoubtedly, is one of the best managers in the world — his record speaks for itself.

He is a master tactician, he doesn’t take risks he knows he can’t achieve, and he only cares about results.

But sometimes one of those things can get in the way of the other.

United were on fire, on top of the league, and looked like this could be the first team since 2013 to possibly win the title. But over thinking our scoreless draw at Liverpool has crippled the Red Devils.

“I was a Manchester United supporter, I would be really disappointed because you can accept losing because the opponent had more quality, but not because the opponent had more attitude.” said Mourinho following the Huddersfield loss.

Manchester United have just one loss this season in the league. It’s not time to panic … yet. But the patters aren’t improving, and the matches just get bigger each week. Mourinho needs to motivate the side to play the mesmerizing football we were a month ago, or the title race is truly over.
