Liverpool 3–3 Manchester United, 3 Jan 1994

When you think of comebacks you generally think of Manchester United, specifically the Champions League Final in 1999. However, Liverpool pulled off one of the Premier Leagues first comebacks at Anfield.

Reigning champions United hit stunned the Anfield faithful with three goals in the first 25 minutes. Amongst the goals from Steve Bruce and Ryan Giggs was a stunning Free-kick from Denis Irwin.

United then took their foot off the gas and allowed Nigel Clough to pull two back before halftime. Then with only a few minutes remaining United were stunned by a bullet header from Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock.
