Zlatan Ibrahimovic has big news on the way. The former Manchester United striker is on the lookout for a new club after being released by Jose Mourinho. Where will the Swede be next?

In recent days, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has teased the football world with a huge announcement. Perhaps, Ibrahimovic’s announcement is an unveiling of his new team. Since Ibra’s departure from Manchester United, rumors have circulated that he could be making a move to Major League Soccer in the United States.

More specifically, these rumors have persisted that LA Galaxy will be the Swede’s new home. What would the MLS look like with Zlatan? To be completely honest, the MLS would be a much easier league for Ibrahimovic to compete in; especially if he went to LA Galaxy.

In his only season with Manchester United the Swedish striker found the net 17 times in league play. Also, he won silverware in multiple competitions. Wherever Ibrahimovic has gone he has won trophies. The same could be assumed if he were to make a move to Galaxy.

Many United fans wish Ibrahimovic the best in his professional endeavors. However, many Red Devil supporters would still like to see him in a red shirt. In fact, a return to Old Trafford is still entirely plausible; just like the move to the MLS.

Does this move make sense?

In my personal opinion, this move does not make sense. Ibrahimovic still has plenty of life in his game. In his only season with Manchester United, he proved to the world that he is still in form. Furthermore, he scored some beautiful goals in a United shirt.

Sure enough, many European legends have made moves to the MLS but it does not seem like the right time for Zlatan to make that same move. If LA Galaxy were to end up signing Ibrahimovic, they would have the potential to become perpetual MLS cup winners. All because nobody would be able to stop a world class striker like Ibrahimovic.

In the end, rumors are not always true. As wild as this transfer rumor seems, it could always come true. Still, United supporters all around the globe would rather Zlatan re-sign with United.
