Manchester United most likely will head to the United States with only one new signing
Despite all of the rumors circulating about Manchester United and transfers, the Red Devils have only made one new signing this window. Jose Mourinho will hope the club can do some more business while the team is on tour.
Manchester United have been rumored to be going after Cristiano Ronaldo, Alvaro Morata, James Rodriguez, Nemanja Matic, Fabinho, Andrea Belotti, and many other players. Not one of these has signed for United at the moment.
I’m sure Jose Mourinho would ideally want his final squad with him on tour in the United States but that will not happen. Manchester United will have to make two to three more signings by the end of the window.
Victor Lindelof is the lone signing this transfer window and will most likely travel to the United States with the United squad. The Swedish center back will want to impress Mourinho on this tour in a fight for a starting role in the squad.
His former Swedish teammate will not be traveling with the squad as he has been released by the club officially. He has not found his next club and is currently a free agent. That leaves United with Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, and Wayne Rooney that can play as a center forward.
Manchester United fans are extremely naive if they think they can compete in the Premier League and the Champions League with only Rashford, Martial, and Rooney. The club will definitely have to sign a number 9 and hopefully it is the likes of Morata or Ronaldo.

While signing Ronaldo may be a long shot, the club could and should be able to sign Morata. The Spaniard was not in favor at Real Madrid and will want to find a new home. United will offer him a starting role as well as Champions League football. United fans will be looking out for more signings as the window is now officially open.
