According to Bleacher Report, Manchester United may use David De Gea and £183 million to capture the signatures of Alvaro Morata and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been long rumored to be going to Real Madrid. With Cristiano Ronaldo wanting to leave Spain and United heavily pursuing his signature, Madrid may be able to leverage a deal for De Gea.
De Gea has not come out and committed his future to Manchester United this summer and it has worried Manchester United fans. While United fans worry over losing their goalkeeper, they will be ecstatic about the possibility of re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese winger has won the Champions League, La Liga, Premier League, and the Ballon d’Or. He is one of the most celebrated athletes of his generation and Manchester United would have a dream come true if they were to sign Ronaldo.
While the report states that United is interested in Ronaldo and Morata, it is more likely that United will get only one of the two. It is doubtful that Madrid will offload their top two goal scorers from the last campaign.
In La Liga, Ronaldo scored 25 goals and notched 6 assists. His partner, Morata, scored 15 goals and provided 4 assists in the league. The two are obviously proven goal scorers and United would have embarrassment of riches if the two were to sign for Manchester United.

With the signing of Victor Lindelof, United have solidified their defense and the Red Devils may be able to afford to offload De Gea in order to bring in Ronaldo and Morata. Jose Mourinho will have to make the decision if it is worth it to lose their Spanish shot stopper for the Real Madrid striking pair.
