After a moderate season by Martial’s standards, what rating can gamer’s expect to see this fall when FIFA 18 releases?
For FIFA fans, Martial provided a talented and quick style of play that was hard to match by any other Premier League winger. The Frenchman was always the favorite to play out on the left, using his dribbling and pace to get inside the box and make crucial plays.
Martial was handed this card last year by the EA staff, and may be looking for something more from this year’s game.
Some highlights of Martial’s FIFA Ultimate Team cards were his 84 rated and 86 rated striker inform card, as seen below.
This card did some damage to whatever opponent was unlucky enough to come up against it.
To focus more on the new game however, let’s breakdown what Anthony Martial’s card could look like in FIFA 18. Obviously he hasn’t had the season he had last year, but that wont stop him from getting an upgrade. Take a look at the card below, and we can break down some of the stats.
Whilst he does get a pace decrease, and an overall physical decrease, his technical stats receive some much-needed attention. He may not be the physical monster he was this past year, but he will be a lot more clinical.

All in all, comparing Anthony’s FIFA 17 card with the predicted FIFA 18 card, he sees an upgrade to his overall, which is mainly coming from the improvements to his technical statistics. The threat remains the same as last year, playing him as a dangerous winger outside that can cut in and make clinical finishes will prove to be the most beneficial use for this card.
