The versatile Italian is capable of playing across the backline although he is unlikely to feature as a centre-back. Injuries to Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo have helped him make the left-back position his own in the late stages of the season. Will be one of the first names on the team sheet in the left-back position to face Ajax.
