Manchester United has not lost a Premier League match since the 23rd of October where they were humiliated by Antonio Conte’s Chelsea. Yesterday, the Reds extended their unbeaten streak to 22 games with a win over the Blues.

Manchester United has only tallied 3 losses this season thus far, which is less than league leaders Chelsea. After suffering back to back defeats in September to Manchester City and Watford, the Reds have been resolute. Following these losses was a string of good results, except for the slip up at Stamford Bridge.

The Red Devils would be competing for the title if it weren’t for the 12 draws that Mourinho’s men have suffered. This may be due to the large number of competitions the Reds were in but still unlike a Manchester United team to drop so many points.

In these 22 games, Manchester United have had some close calls, including two stoppage-time equalizers. In the 94th minute at Stoke City, Wayne Rooney slammed home a free kick from what seemed to be an impossible angle. When Everton came to Old Trafford, Zlatan Ibrahimovic slotted home an equalizing penalty after an Ashley Williams red card.

The unbeaten run has also included a win against Chelsea and Tottenham, 2 draws against Liverpool and a draw with Arsenal. Mourinho’s men have stepped up in big-time games and with Manchester City, Tottenham, and Arsenal still left to play they will have to continue their dominance against big teams.
