Number 9. Owen Hargreaves
Hargreaves, a midfielder, joined Manchester United in 2007 for £17 million, after a long negotiation period with Bayern Munich, his former club.
Hargreaves what flooded with injuries throughout his career, and they only seemed to get worse at United. During his four-year term at Old Trafford, he only played in 27 games, but still managed to tack on four goals.
Sir Alex Ferguson would later go on to call him one of the most disappointing signings of his long career in his autobiography.
