After a disappointing 1-1 draw with Everton, Manchester United picked up their 12th draw of the Premier League season. This is the most in the Premier League and besides Middlesbrough, no other team has more than 9 draws.

Jose Mourinho and his squad sit in 6th place at the moment 4 points behind 4th-placed Manchester City. The Red Devils have a game in hand on City and still have to play them as well. Along with City at home, United have to go away to Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham. This will be an enormous task and Mourinho might have to look to the Europa League for a place in the Champions League next season.

The United manager has come out and said that his side “does not score enough goals”. The team has notched 43 goals, only two more than 15th placed West Ham. This is astonishing with the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Anthony Martial, and Marcus Rashford all available for United.

To draw 12 games is an unreal figure for a team of United’s stature. This article will go into an in-depth look at these draws and what could have been.
