6. Ruud Van Nistelrooy

After enjoying a great spell in the Dutch league with PSV, he made the switch to Manchester United.  While he signed for 19-million and many thought that was a heavy price to pay for a guy coming off an ACL injury.  So he would go out and score 95 times in a 105 appearances for United.  And he would also go on and win a Premier League title back in 2002-2003.  He was a deadly force in front of goal and was a prolific goal scorer for United.
