9. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

While not the biggest name on the list, Solskjaer was as clutch as they came.  None more evident than his goal in the ’99 Champions League Final.  Because of Sosskjaer’s goal, United won the Champions League.  But furthermore he has scored 91 goals in 237 appearances for the Red Devils.  He is such a folklore in Manchester that there is a chant about him “You are my Soskjaer.” He would retire after the 2007 season and move on to take over coaching duties of the Manchester United reserves.
