Andreas Pereira

The Belgian-born Brazilian has been on loan at Granada, a bottom-dwelling club in La Liga currently in 18th place. Although he was involved in the pre-season games, chances to play would have been scarce this season with the odd cup game.

At Granada, he has arguably been their best player during the relegation fight under two managers. Primarily played on the left side of midfield, he has put in some very encouraging performances, particularly two games against the Madrid powerhouse clubs. He has displayed a lot of maturity and responsibility in addition to his technical ability in most of the games which bodes well for the future.

Next season he definitely has a good chance to get into the first-team squad for United, pending any recruitments in the attacking areas. His set-piece delivery is top-notch and he would improve the current dire situation in the team from attacking set-pieces. If that does not pan out then I believe a loan to a Premier League team should be the next step in establishing himself as a future great player. This is one player United should not let go of easily.
