Manchester United head to Russia for the round of 16 clash against FC Rostov. The Reds will look to build an early lead in the two-legged tie, as the fixtures continue to build up for Mourinho’s men.

The Red Devils will look to bounce back from a disappointing outing against Bournemouth in the Premier League. United had a golden opportunity at moving up in the Premier League table and were spoiled by a 10-man Bournemouth side. Jose Mourinho was clearly frustrated with his squad after a sub-par performance and will look to put out a strong side against the Russian competition.

FC Rostov is currently 7th in the Russian Premier League and are coming off a victory over FC Sparta Praha in the round of 32. They won 5-1 on aggregate and their top scorer, Dmitriy Poloz, notched a goal in both fixtures against the Czech side. Poloz will be the go to man against United and the Reds will have to be aware of his creative threat.
