As Ander Herrera completed 100 appearances across all competitions for Manchester United, everyone hopes that the 27 year old stays at the club. He has a long career ahead of him and has finally been entrusted with a first team place. With the added benefit of him thriving in his role.

United fans would love to see a passionate player like him to play for the much-celebrated red shirt for the years to come as he has truly rediscovered himself. With his performances, Herrera is proving why he was so good that even Sir Alex wanted to bring him in. He is a precious one in the long line of gifted midfielders and I, as an avid Red Devils fan, wish his career turns out to be as glorious as his role model, Scholes’ did.
