Ander Herrera completed 100 appearances a few days back for Manchester United, we take a look at what has prompted him to become one of the fan favourites at Old Trafford.

It has been a strange ride for one of the most loved United player. Brought in to Old Trafford, the Spaniard failed to find his bearings in his first two seasons with the club. The supporters, however, have always been sure of the fact that he was bound to ‘rise’ in the ranks of the team one day.

The dearth of opportunities under Van Gaal led to disbelief among pundits since the Spaniard was a gifted midfielder. Fast forward to six months down the line under new boss, Jose Mourinho, Herrera has rediscovered his mojo much to the delight of United supporters.
