Watford are starting to see themselves in a slump now after a good start to the league. With only three points in their last five games, Watford have to adjust how they are playing if they don’t want to see themselves in a relegation battle. Four losses come in their past five, with only one team (Man City), being in the top four.

The Hornets are missing their goalscoring touch in their current form. With only four goals in their past five games, Watford need to start hitting the target more consistently if they want to get into the top-half of the league. A more shocking stat is three of those four goals came in their 3-2 win against Everton. So with only hitting the target in two of their past five games, red flags are starting to be raised in Watford. They are also looking a shaky team at the back with nine goals conceded in their past five games, while also conceding in every one of those games.

After a surprising loss to Sunderland over the weekend, Watford have the chance to try to gain some points from their next three games. With games coming up against Crystal Palace, Tottenham, and Stoke City, Watford should see themselves take some points away from these next few games. Watford desperately need some points in these next few games or they will see themselves in a relegation battle.

18th in the RDA power rankings is again a team that isn’t in the relegation zone, but could see themselves there soon if they don’t pick up better results…
