We’ve been here before. Arsenal have a good start to the season then start having a slump around Christmas, start playing well again till March, then die out again. We’re already on to stage two of the Arsene Wenger playbook, which sees them seventh on this power ranking. With three convincing wins over Bournemouth, Stoke, and West Ham, their past two losses have been meltdowns against Everton and Man City.

Arsenal have scored 15 goals in these past five games which is an astounding record. They’ve also only conceded seven goals in these five games. So surely they shouldn’t be seventh? However, it’s that their goals scored are congested in a few games, while their goals conceded are spread out. Which is the unluckiest way of scoring and conceding. They are also ‘bottling’ it after giving up in the second-half against Everton and Man City recently.

Arsenal have three easy games coming up in Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, and West Brom next. They should be picking up nine points in these games, however, with the infamous Arsenal slump, can they take maximum points against these teams? They will need their stars to take it to the next level if they want to stay in the top four.
Number six on the RDA power rankings is the other North London team…
