Red Devil Armada English Premier League power rankings
By Mike Parrott
10. West Bromwich Albion (7 points in 5 games)
West Bromwich Albion had been one of the best teams in terms of form the past couple of months, but they’ve started to slip up again. With two resounding wins over Watford and Swansea, they also slipped up against Chelsea and Man United which is put them 10th. The draw with Hull as well is a loss when a team list West Brom should be winning easily. West Brom are not in a relegation battle this season and are fighting for Europe. But they need to start getting back into form if they want to be in the Europa League.
With seven goals in the past five games, they will need more if they want to make it into Europe. However, with manager Tony Pulis being known for being a defensive-first manager, scoring a lot of goals will probably not happen. With only six goals conceded in the past five games, that wouldn’t be a bad stat for most teams. However, for a team that doesn’t score much, their differential has to be much higher.
The Baggies’ next three games are against Arsenal, Southampton, and Hull. They should be able to take at least four points from these three games if they can play their defensive system well. If they can’t stop leaking goals and they can only go down.
Number nine on the RDA power rankings is a surprising team that does it’s best works on a rainy Tuesday…
