12. Bournemouth (6 points in 5 games)
Bournemouth are struggling to string wins together. In the last five games, they’ve had a loss following a win for the past five games. They are also missing consistency. Bournemouth need to string those wins together and play to the same level against every team. The South Coast team played well against Liverpool which resulted in a win, but then lost to Burnley. They need to play at the same level to go higher up in the league.
With nine goals in the past five games, Bournemouth are scoring the necessary amount of goals, but they can’t keep goals out of their own net. With 12 goals conceded in the past five games, Bournemouth have a negative differential in these games and have to work on their defence first. If it be on the training pitch or in the January transfer window, Bournemouth have to do something to stop leaking goals.
The Cherries have a tough schedule coming up in their next three games though. With Chelsea, Swansea, and Arsenal up next, Bournemouth aren’t expected to take many points in these games. If they can keep up by getting at least three points from these games, it will be a success for the South Coast outfit.
