Manchester United will look to spend big and sign a mixture of talented youngsters and experienced stars.
In an attempt to get back to competing for the Premier League title and Champions League trophy, Manchester United will aim to sign new players this summer. A host of names have been linked, but some of them are unrealistic and unattainable targets.
Harry Kane, for example, is a player who is highly rated by Jose Mourinho, the man most likely to be managing United come next season. Signing him from Tottenham Hotspur, however, will be no easy task. Daniel Levy will drive a hard bargain and look for a fee in the region of £60 million.
Renato Sanches, by contrast, is one of many talented prospects plying his trade in Portugal, a country where promising young players are snapped up year after year. The 18-year-old could be bought this summer if United table a realistic bid.
One of the other problems associated with signing a group of players in one transfer window is trying to get them to gel at the same time. That, of course, is an issue United have experienced in the last two seasons.
