3. Andreas Pereira, Midfielder

The 20-year-old, like Januzaj, possesses natural ability in the way that very few young players do. The Brazilian is so comfortable on the ball.

Pereira, though, has had very few chances to impress this season. With so many youngsters handed opportunities in the first team, it’s odd that one of the most talented has been restricted to just 80 minutes in the Premier League.

Aside from one magnificent free-kick against Ipswich Town in the Capital One Cup, United fans haven’t really seen what the attacking midfielder can do. In fact, his most significant contribution perhaps came in pre-season, when he was one of real success stories of the United States tour.

Again, like Januzaj, it feels as if Pereira is at an important stage of his career. He is far too good for U21 football, and so if he isn’t going to get chances in United’s first team, he needs to go out on loan.

Pereira will be one to watch in the next few seasons, regardless of whether he’s playing for United or not.
