Seamus Coleman
Everton

A more expensive and unlikely target than the first two mentioned but Seamus Coleman would also be a more long-term option for Louis van Gaal.

More from Manchester United News

The Irishman has overcome some early season injury problems and has helped Everton to a strong start to their campaign as they push for European places once again.

Manchester United were linked with a move for Coleman in the summer before they signed Darmian which suggests that Louis van Gaal is keen on him. While he would likely cost upwards of £20 million, he would provide long-term competition for the right-back spot against Matteo Darmian while also effectively replacing Antonio Valencia in the squad from next season onwards.
