David Beckham’s corner was punched clear by David James and the ball landed at the edge of the penalty area, straight to Cantona. The enigmatic Frenchman, who was known for pulling off moments of sheer magic did the same this time around. He hit his volley towards the goal and the ball found its way into the back of the net, passing through a crowded penalty area.
The goal won United the FA Cup for the third time under Sir Alex Ferguson and made the Old Trafford outfit the only team to have won the famous old trophy nine times.
